The eucalyptus forest lies to the north west of the village of Cessenon on the D14 road. In 1958, there was an experiment to plant a dozen species of eucalyptus across an area of 14 ha, replacing the maquis shrubland. In 1984, however, all the eucalyptus trees died of frost. The remains subsequently formed a forest copse alongside 25 ha of maritime pine trees.
There is a yellow signposted footpath allowing you to explore the forest.
